How powerful are the Weird Sisters' prophecies? Would the same events have happened regardless of whether the witches made their predictions? Or do the predictions cause the events of the play to happen? Explain your opinion.
I think the weird sisters prophecies are very powerful because all of what they said was going to happen did. Macbeth at first thought that they weren't as powerful but as soon as the things started happening he started to realize that they really where. I think the predictions cause the events of the play to happen because if  the weird sisters wouldn't have said the prophecies something different would of have happened. Macbeth acted very suprised when the prophecies were happening, he didin't expect that.
