Faith for me is believing that everything will be okay. Faith is something that is portrayed in this book especially with Amir. He is in a situation were he has to live with a guilt since he was small and he still manages to keep his life going when knowing and remembering what happened in his childhood. Amir is the character that portrays faith the most in this book.
FAITH :]
Faith is portrayed in this novel by the fact amir having faith in jist moving on in life and that he thinks everything is going to get better when some things gets worst. The characters that have faith are Baba, Hassan, Amirs wife, and Rahim. Baba defines faith by the way he acts like everything possible and that he sort of encourages Amir but like in a tougher way. Amir doesn't reall show faith because he is just hiding from his past
How is faith portrayed in this novel? Which characters have faith? How does Baba define faith? What about Amir?
everyone has their own perspective of faith. People could have their different definitions. I define faith as in something that you believe in and have great hope in. in the book kite runner there was lots of different stories about faith. Baba had lots of faith in his life because of everything he was blessed with even when it was something gone wrong. Baba never gave up in life he did whatever he had to do. Baba had the type of faith that he was like he didn't want help from anyone. He practically was like his faith was himself and Amir. Amir faith was sort of leaning towards dad see what he'll do to help fix something. But i feel that both amir and baba had faith in go but just didn't really show it. This entire book is practically all based on faith. Everyone had there own faith. They believed in something to get it done. Peoples faith was really strong. I Think that amir had a lot of faith because, from all characters he showed his strong side Be did whatever to be happy and not look back. he had faith that he would become an writer and become married. he believed that his father raised him good
o.o
(dont wanna do this, still tired even though i woke up at 2:30 lololol)
Faith is portrayed in the God Allah. I know that Rahim Khan guy always brings him up in the book, and so does the General. They say something that your faith lies in Allahs eyes or hands. And that it would be determined in the future for you. I think Rahim has alot of faith in Amir, btu hes just not trying at all. He does believe that Amir could do better and is this whole other new person. Alot of Amir's faith lies in Baba and Hassan, I think. Amir always supported and followed what Baba did and said. That was his bestfriend. And Hassan because of what happened, and how Hassan still talked about Amir and wondered how he was all those years. Amir still had "unfinished" business with him. Amir does have a lack in faith through out the book though, he doesn't know what to believe in or hope for. He seems more stuck in the middle between it all.
Faith!!
How is faith portrayed in this novel? Which characters have faith? How does Baba
define faith? What about Amir?
Faith is definitely portrayed in this novel because most of the characters seem to have faith and and are very serious about there religion. I think the charcters that do have faith within the novel are Baba and Amir. I think those are the ones that show they truely beileve in what there religion. Baba has shown faith by always praying for himself and Amir. He prays that someday he turns out to be a good man.

Faith :)
I have to say evryones faith is displaded different throughout the book and for most there faith changes. Like for babe and how he says the biggerst sin is theft and how he tells amir not to ever commit it, yet latter we find he himself has commited theft and Hassan is his son as well. Which goes ageinst every thing he said and for Amir he now knows it was all a lie but it changes him b.c he wants to change his way if you will but i dont think nessisaraly for the right reasons. Buts that what i think
im doing this @ 7 33 i have faith it'll be half right)

In the novel everyone has their own form of faith. What they believe is going to happen and what actually happens. Hassain has faith to the extreme and most of his faith is based in Amir. Even though Amir always seems to sail him. Baba defines faith by believing in the outcome of the income. What ever happens he just lets it follow because he knows theres really no changing the future. Amir hasnt really tapped into his faith.
omg im tired im outttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

Having Faith
Faith is portrayed in this book is when Amir and Baba was living Kabul and going to America. Baba was losing faith because he thought they will never make it out of live in Kabul and just lost faith because of that. Amir still kept his faith because he knew everything was going to be fine. Amir kept his faith because he believe and didn't stop using faith at all. Baba define faith is when you have courage and having good things going around you. Amir still had faith and never stop having faith faith because he believe things would happen.
Faithhhhhh (Me Singing)
How is faith portrayed in this novel? Which characters have faith? How does Baba define faith? What about Amir?
Faith is portrayed in this novel in small ways. Like how Baba really wasn't into religion, but he had faith in little things, such as when he said the biggest sin is theft. Baba, Rahim Khan, Ali, and Hassan are the main characters that have faith in this book. Amir doesn't define faith in any way because he is a stupid BASTARD!

A faith is a necessity to a man. Woe to him who believes in nothing.
Faith is portrayed in this novel because everyone have to believe something that will eventually happen. Something like a change, like when you have faith that their will be a change, that something good will happen. Hassan, Rahim Khan, Sopyhia and Baba has a little faith as well.
To be honest I don't know how Baba and Amir defined faith. But I am aware that they have it. Amir has faith that one day his dad will be affectionate to him like Hassan's pretend daddy is. Baba feels that if it was meant for him to be a live, then no kind of treatment is necessary.

Faith.
Faith is a big part of this book because each character has experienced something, whether it was good or bad. And they all had things that kept them going and move on, even though some had painful memories. I also think faith is included in everyday life because we each believe that things will or can get better eventually.

Have faith or die tryin'
I think faith is present in the Kite Runner. Its something that is always there and is a necessity. Without it, people would have nothing to live for and just give up. I believe that Hassans father, Hassan, and Baba have faith. Hassan's dad always prayed for them when they left outside to play and had faith that they would come back home safe and sound. If he didn't have the faith, then he would probably not even let Hassan out to play or go anywhere. Hassan you can just tell that his father tendencies have rubbed off on him. Baba has to have faith for both Amir and himself, because like always, Amir is too selfish and worried about himself to have faith. Like when Baba found out that he had cancer and refused treatment, Amir automatically said he was going to die and leave him by himself. Baba on the other hand had faith that whatever was to come was Allah's will.

I'm quite skilled in the art of not caring.....
So, I guess I agree with this quote. It's true, that's for sure.
People will hold that grudge & keep those feelings with them & eventually it will do them more harm then the person they can't or won't forgive. Let me just say, carrying around those types of burdens can kill you, man.
Actually forgiving those people (or youself) who have hurt you or whatever damage they've managed to do is showing them that you're strong enough and capable enough to let go & move the f**k on with your life instead of being dragged down by the petty crap of the past that doesn't even matter anymore.

so what he was trying to say was....
Gandhi once said, "The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is an attribute
of the strong." Do you agree or disagree? Explain.
Gandhi was basically trying to say that people with jacked up attitudes or unreasonable high self esteem for no reason. Do not know how to come off there high horse and forgive someone for something they probaly will do another time.
Yes, I agree with this statement. You see it everyday.
lets fly a kite ?
i dont know, i feel like i can forgive and then i'll forget for a while, but then i'll remember again and then it would just be harder to forgive again. but i do agree that it makes you stronger if you forgive people. it shows a lot about you, beacause its really hard to forget. :D
Forgive yes..But to forget??? is the question.
I have to say i agree on some level b.c in order for us to forgive we must be strong to overcome the problem and not to hold it as a grudge our whole life. B.c it's exactly that which makes us weak, hating and not forgiving that person, but to do so we must be at peace with our self. Though for the whole for part I don't know, I'm not to sure. I guess depending on the situation yes it's good to forget b.c it just goes to show you relay have forgiven. But there is always that one situation you face in life that you don't want to forget completely b.c its one that you learn from. and if we don't learn how would we ever grow maturely as a person. But that's just my opinion.
Forgiveness Depends
I believe to forgive or not to forgive depends on what type of situation. Now if somebody call that person a bad name and that person forgave then yes that is forgivable and that person is strong because he or she dont hold any grudges cus life is too short but like let say that person killed a family member of that person I dont think because of that action a lot of the people will forgive and that does not make them weak because of just holding grudges or they cant forgive. They become weak because they just lost a love one and they expect justice.
I'm going to stand in the middle and get hit this time ;)
Its hard to forgive someone, depending on what it is that that person did. Sometimes it takes longer to forgive someone, and its not because that person is weak its just they need more time. But yeah I guess you can say it takes a strong person to forgive. A lot of people take advantage of being forgiven, they think they can jump right back into the friendship like nothing has ever happen. That's why its harder for me to forgive...
