"Who ceases to be a friend never was one."
I believe this proverb is relevant today because it's something we can all apply to our life. There's also a saying that says "you can only count your true friends on only one hand" and this proverb explains it. There are many people who come into our lives, but those that leave or disappear from it shouldn't be considered "friends." I'm not saying we should all not trust another but true friends are those that stick around no matter the situation might be. I can say it's relevant in my life, especially now with my transfer.
I came to a new school and my supposed "friends" from Ignatius are now no where to be found. They're not my friends now, so it's safe to say I guess they really never were to begin with.

This is true. We all have to be careful. One day you might think your friend is really your best friend but the next day it might be a lie after all. Real friends stick up for you no mater the situation some friends just ignore you or walk away from you without saying a word.
ReplyDeleteGood insights. And apparently SpongeBob and Patrick represent true friendship? :)
