Ohhhh Weeeeee :)

How is The Importance of Being Earnest a "comedy of manners"? Is this play actually funny? What is Wilde satirizing?

The Importance of Being Earnest if a comedy of manner because it is about a bunch of old, rich, white people that does not take anything serious what so ever. I think that this play is actual funny because it is kind of how Tepeyac is, like how us girls never really take anything serious unless we really care about it. The characters in this play did not take anything serious but food and lies.
