Faith & Religion are always playing a major part in the novel The Color Of Water. Even in the first few chapters, where you expect nothing but a few informatory sentences about what the freak is going on, they already start throwing in some religious based statements, facts [ex: "When I asked she'd say, "God made me."] and delve straight into religion. Faith is intertwined with all the chapters, but to me, it takes awhile to build up enough to recognize it clearly.
