Argh eveline

The internal conflict in Eveline is that she did a difficult choice about whether to leave and go with frank or to stay with her father and keep her promise to her mother. She ended up to staying with her dad which I totally disagree with her choice because I know her mother wouldn't want her to suffer and just wants her to enjoy life and make the best of it. This short story is an example of modern literature because it tell specifically what was going on and what's it about.
