What is the internal conflict in "Eveline"? Do you agree with her choice?
Explain. How is this short story an example of Modern Literature?
-The internal conflict is she wants to leave with her lover, but she can't because in a way her concsiouse is holding her back. Like the promise she made her mother. Disagreee! I would of left with the lover because that was once in a lifetime chancee. Because everybody had to make choices about there future, and that's what eveline had to do.
Ok yea that is another good reason too its like looking at the bright side about her future
