I do not agree with Evelyn's decsion not to go with the one person that loved her unconditionally. She has one sibling that isn't there anymore and a father that rather be rude and unkind to her than respect the fact that she is the only one that will stay and put up with him. He is her family so I understand why she would stay and make sure that his last days are good ones, but the fact that she let this good man go pisses me off and that makes me call her dumb but sweet.
This is an example of modern literature because this is something that could happen to people today and probaly does.
Your right it could happen to anybody in life. If that was meee mannnn i would of totally left.
